Who should enroll at Hibbard?

1) Families living inside Hibbard’s attendance boundary in K-6th grade

Use the CPS School Locator to confirm your address is in our boundary:

If you live in-boundary, come to the main office during enrollment hours with the required documents (below).

2) Families living outside the boundary

Out-of-boundary students must apply through GoCPS. We have limited seats in Kindergarten and 1st grade.

Documents to Bring

Please bring originals (and a copy if possible):

  • Birth Certificate or Passport

  • Two Proofs of Address (e.g., utility bill, lease, mortgage)

  • Child’s Physical Exam/Immunization Record

All additional school forms will be completed on-site when you enroll.

How to Enroll (In-Boundary)

  1. Confirm your address with the CPS School Locator.

  2. Visit Hibbard Mon–Thu, 8:00 AM–1:30 PM with required documents.

  3. Complete school forms in the office.

  4. You’ll receive next steps and start-of-school information

Pre-Kindergarten Registration

Hibbard offers:

  • Half-day Pre-K for children who are 3 years old by September 1

  • Full-day Pre-K for children who are 4 years old by September 1

All families—whether in-boundary or out-of-boundary—must apply through Chicago Early Learning:

Once your child is placed at Hibbard, our main office will contact you with next steps for enrollment, including required documents and orientation information.
